64’ wide x 112’ long mare care barn, designed & built for Bolea Farms in Lodi, California.

This barn is constructed using colored RBS vinyl forms filled with concrete for all the barn walls.  This photo shows walls being filled with concrete using a boom pump.  There are ten 16’ x 16’ stalls with a 16’ wide breeze way, 16’ x 32’ area for two palpation chutes and one horse dummy.  Opposite this area is an office and lab.

Stall fronts have 4” thick concrete filled RBS forms 4’ high, see through bar grilles, hinged feed door and 4’-8” wide x 8’ high sliding door.   Partitions between stalls and outside walls will also have bar grilles but were not installed when these photos were taken.  Steel columns 16’ on center to support glue-lam beam rafters.

Galvanized steel roof, custom made roof cupolas, 3’ x 32’ canopy over split sliding door opening, RBS vinyl wall surface is maintenance free, the color will not fade and it is easy to keep clean inside the stalls as well as outside.

Roof is framed with glue-lam beam rafters and 2x6 roof purlins, large glue-lam is above the palpation chute area to eliminate the need for a steel column.  Notice RBS vinyl form concrete filled walls to roof on gable end and 2 story area across breeze way.
